Inspire TaeKwon-Do offers martial arts classes for children and adults ages 7 & up. Our classes focus on ITF Patterns with sine wave, Kicking & Punching Techniques and Fundamental Movements, Continuous Sparring, Board Breaking & extensive practical Self Defense techniques.
INSTRUCTOR
MASTER DANA JOHNSON, VIII DEGREE
Inspire TaeKwon-Do students have the privilege of training under a highly skilled 8th Degree Master ITF TaeKwon-Do Instructor: Master Dana Johnson.
Master Johnson has trained directly under, and was awarded his 4th degree directly from, the founder of TaeKwon-Do — General Choi Hong Hi. He also holds a 3rd Degree black belt in Japanese Ju-Jitsu and was control tactics instructor for the Alberta Justice Staff College in Edmonton during his employment as a law enforcement officer.
Master Johnson has taught martial arts seminars and courses throughout Europe, South East Asia and throughout North, Central and South America. He has also successfully coached international competitors to world championship wins.

Beginner classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 pm for kids and adults ages 7 & up.

You will find Inspire TaeKwon-Do inside the Genesis Centre, located at 7555 Falconridge Blvd. NE, Calgary. Our classes are held in the Community Gym on the lower level on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

Our new beginners are training Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.

Monthly training fees are $85 per person and are payable in advance, set up on a monthly automated payment system. We offer discounts for multiple students living in the same household.
Other expenses include the purchase of a training uniform for $75 and a full set of sparring equipment for $150, which is required before a student reaches the rank of yellow belt.
Students will undergo periodic examination for their next rank. The length of time between ranks varies based on their level. A testing fee of $40 applies for each exam.
All prices subject to GST.

We do not use contracts, but expect that most students will continue uninterrupted training at least through to the black belt level.
